Class homework that was required to incorporate a demon witch with boxing gloves, staff, skull breastplate, hat, feathers and a cat. copics, microns and white pencil on brown paper.
haha awesome witch and cat. Like how her back leg just rests perfectly on the cats back. Lovely shading and lighting. I agree with the wing perspective being a little off and a little rough compared to all the fine detail the character's body and clothing. I also had a hard time identifying the cats pose mainly because of its right front paw. It looks disjointed. I feel it needs to be brought up a little. And because its the same shade as the witches feet It brings that paw forward instead of back behind the left paw. That could just be me though. Nice job nonetheless can't wait to see more >: D
Nice work with the values! And it's refreshing to see some traditional work from you. If you want some critique, I think the wings are a bit out of perspective, but that's not a huge issue.
a;lkdjfalkd DA isn't letting me critique (the page is being retarded) so i shall do it here!
First off... holy fuck i wanna be a witch like that. lol you did a marvelous job on the detail, its absolutely amazing and i love everything about the witch. Her legs and wings are just truly astonishing showing the time and patience put in to the drawing. her face is very realistic to the traditional witch figure everyone has engraved in their brains.
now the hell hound is just awesome, i like how its very simple but makes an awesome impression on the viewer. all of the other details like the breast plate and the staff are also pretty cool.... kinda makes me wanna go out and buy one to show my awesome self. lol
Judging by the brown sketchbook, was this assignment for Character Viz? I think I took that same class last semester ^_^ Nice use of the markers! For me, the contrast and highlights read really well!
